From within the pages of (The New York Times) style magazine, Ethel creates a “conversation piece”—frankfurter and macaroni gelatin surprise.

What I love about this story.

Everything. From the title to Ethel’s first line of dialogue, “I could cry,” to the domestic discord ending — Outside, Ethel could hear the banging of pots and pans, and everything in-between. What do you think?
